Original Pearly Kings and Queens

Summary

There are many sites aimed at providing a community focus for Pearly charitable organizations. We were approached to provide pro-bono design services for the Original Pearly Kings and Queens association.

Challenge

The goal of this project was to create a web presence that was visually appealing, displayed a proud heritage, and yet incorporating a sense of fun.

Approach

We went through a number of design iterations before choosing the final look. Once the wire frames were in place it was a fairly simple job to collect material and apply it to the site.

Solution

By judiciously using Flash for the introduction and focusing on the information architecture, we were able to provide a clean nuanced result.

We were able to present a clean professional image for the Pearly Kings and Queens that will help differentiate them in their charitable work.
